November Favourites

Welcome to my first ever favourites post! I’m going to go a monthly favourites post in the last week of every month. These posts will showcase Beauty/Make Up products & tools, TV shows and Clothes that I have been loving that month.

Starting with November, here are my top picks from the month.

Bondi Sands Tan Eraser – €19.49 Boots

Gone are the days of taking a layer of skin off with exfoliants! You would have seen the Bondi Sands Tan Eraser in action if you are following me on Snapchat –  @aweirdheff.

It’s a foam that you apply 5 minutes before a shower or bath which dissolves your tan, even in those stubborn areas.

I like to apply it on my ankles, feet, elbows and hands, while I’m running a bath. Soak in the bath for 30mins (or more). Before I get out, I wipe over the areas with an exfoliating glove and rinse.

Works like a charm.

Blank Canvas Cosmetics E23 & E24 Double Ended Pencil & Flat Shader Brush – €9.20 Beauty Bay (reduced)

I picked up this Blank Canvas Dual Brush in Kieran’s Avenue Pharmacy and it is such a handy brush to have in your collection. The flat shader is great for packing on colour or foils and the pointed end is so soft, making it perfect for under your eye. I also use the pointed end for the outer corner of my lid and my crease.

Root Touch Up/Dye Spray

For my Balding Beauties, or for anyone with annoying roots. Dye spray’s or Root Touch Up sprays are a must have. There are so many to choose from and they all do the same thing, provide a quick touch up that you can have in your handbag, or manbag!

It covers bald patches or grey’s in seconds, drys quickly and washes out easily. I reach for this when my hair make up needs a quick touch up in between washes. Perfect for thinning crowns!

Balding Beauty Tip: Use a Root Touch Up Dye Spray on thinning areas then go over with hair building fibres (keratin fibres) to give the ultimate appearance of thicker, fuller hair.

Cailyn Dissolv’It Makeup Melt Cleansing Balm – €25 Kieran’s Avenue Pharmacy

This is a must have in your bathroom if, like me, you like to remove your make up with as little fuss as possible. Simply rub a small amount of product into your skin until you look like you have been crying and sweating for about 6 hours, then wash away with warm water and a cloth and voilà! you’re squeaky clean.

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Softening Foaming Gel – €11.99 Boots

I know, another make up removing product, but this is my Number One, my Ride or Die, in cleansing products. The La Roche-Posay Toleriane Softening Foaming Gel is just perfection!

It removes waterproof mascara with ease, and like the Cailyn Dizzolv’It, it takes about 3 minutes to completely remove all traces of your make up and leaves your skin feeling fresh. I have repurchased this on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. A fantastic product!496081_xlarge

Stranger Things 2

*No Spoilers

I was apprehensive about the second season of Stranger Things as I wasn’t sure where exactly the storyline was going to go and worried it would be too similar to season 1. It did not disappoint and I think we can all agree that the character progression for Steve Harrington stole the entire show. #IheartSteve

Also what about Dacre Montgomery, aka Billy,…..was he or was he not born to play an 80’s villain!

Mindhunter

*No Spoilers

If you are a true crime fan but also love the cinematic appeal of crime films or TV shows then Mindhunter is a must watch. I mentioned character progression when discussing Stranger things 2 and Mindhunter has this in heaps. The shots are simply beautiful, the storyline is increasingly gripping and it features exchanges based on real life interviews with some of the most infamous serial killers.
