Style is more than just fashion, it’s art.
Marshes Shopping Centre in Dundalk have been celebrating style all week with their fabulous The Art of Style event.
The style showcase started on the 23rd of June and will come to a close on Friday 30th of June.
To mark the conclusion of a wonderful showcase Marshes Shopping Centre have an exclusive VIP night on Thursday 29th June at 6.30-8.30pm. I was very kindly invited to the event, but I will unfortunately be missing out on the excitement as I have a prior engagement that evening.
On the night there will be a style presentation by Marshes Personal Stylist Rebecca McKinney, drinks reception and canapés, Peter Mark Braid Bar, nail bar and personalised fashion illustration by Linda Byrne Illustration.
So you can see why I am disappointed to be missing out on what will be a thoroughly enjoyable night celebrating the art of style and fashion.
Despite missing the VIP showcase, Marshes sent me out a beautiful compact mirror branded with the event’s logo. Now as you all know I am obsessive about my hair and making sure it looks good (or no bald patches are visible!) so this is the perfect gift for me.
Compact mirrors are perfect for any lady on to the go. The fit perfectly in any style of bag and ensure you can keep your flawless self flawless throughout your busy day.
I have a collection of compact mirrors and I am so pleased to have another to add to my ever-growing collection.
The Art Of Style was a week-long event which started in spectacular fashion. On there was an installation which showcases Marshes Personal Stylist Rebecca McKinney’s top picks available within the shopping centre. To help you find your style and eclectic pieces for you wardrobe.
Shoppers were also given the chance to win their capsule wardrobe worth €400 by simply completing an entry form and popping it in the competition box at the exhibition.
Not only did shoppers have a chance to win their capsule wardrobe worth €400 there were also lots of prizes to be won with Marshes Style Spinner on Saturday June 24th. All you had to do was spin to be in with a chance to win.
On Sunday June 25th there was a Free, yes Free, family fun day featuring games and caricatures for everyone to enjoy!
Overall it was an incredible event that brought fashionistas together to celebrate the wonderful artistry that is fashion. I for one look for to the next Art of Style exhibition and will be making sure my calendar is clear so I don’t miss out on the divine VIP evening!
